The Balaton was waiting for us with sunny, moderately windy, second degree signal. Everyone arrived at the sailing port in Balatonboglár by the agreed time, so at 11am the Phoenix set off, motoring towards Mount Philippi. The reason for using the motor was the storm warning and the fact that the participants were wearing the required formal dress.
Once we reached the cover of Mount Philippi, we started the inauguration ceremony of our brother Grizzly at 11.30am. Under the direction of our Brother Tudor, the traditional initiation took place, including the dry line firing with black powder. The line fires were conducted by El Toro connetable. Brother Grizzly became a brother of the Balaton Table, bringing the total number of the table to 14.
 After a thorough reduction of gunpowder supplies, we set sail and sailed back to the harbour, then headed for the restaurant in Balatonszemes. At 13:00, the brothers, sisters and guests occupied the Seventh Heaven, where pleasant music and a buffet of steaming delicacies awaited. After those present were sworded and seated, our captain Phoenix greeted the attendees and then El Toro Golpe de Canont led us in a few rounds of black powder. The gunpowder was excellent, it did not smoke, it was not wet, every shot produced the expected result... Then we had the turkey soup with tarragon, the excellent oven roasts served on the buffet table, which we can say was everything we expected, the guests were well fed. The continuous music was interrupted only by the toasts. Some people started to leave after 5pm, but the time for the tables to be opened was after 8pm, with the good feeling that the event had been a success and that the idea of brotherhood had been put back into action.
 Yes, the Hungarian Party Brotherhood is alive and well!
